The Belgrade Marathon is a long distance running competition and one of the biggest sports events in the country. It was established back in 1988 and it has been held every year in Belgrade ever since, typically around mid-April and brings together elite runners from all over the world.
This year The Belgrade Marathon will be held on April 16th. Runners will need to come to the press start zone (Nikola Pasic square) between 8:30 and 9:30 where the race will begin.
The program for the 29th Belgrade Marathon is listed below:
Fun Run (5 km)
This is a non-competitive race, there is no registration, winners or placement. It is open for participation. The race starts at 10:05 at the junction of Knez Milos Street and Nikola Pasic Square.
Half marathon (21,1 km)
It is open for participation, children aged 14 to 18 must provide a written parental consent to the Registration centre. The race starts at 10:00 at the junction of Bulevar kralja Aleksandra and Resavska street.
Marathon (42,195 km)
The race is open for participation of everyone 18 or older.
